"Chaluul's Curse" is a C64 port of a PC adventure that was on the cover CD of issue 11/95 of the German computer games magazine "PC Spiel".

Story:

Howard Carter, archaeologist and hobby detective, is asked for help by an old friend. It's about the secret of an ancient sword of the Knights Templar, which is said to have a fatal curse on it. In chapter 1 of "Chaluul's Curse", Carter tries to unravel the mystery of the sword.

The idea, graphics and texts come from Mathias Neumann aka TIKWA, the creator of Ziggy, the Space-Rat.

The C64 version was created by Sönke Wolfgramm using the D42 Adventure System by Stephan Lesch and Tobias Erbsland.

Thanks to Mike Robertson I am now able to offer a CRT version of the game.

The CRT version contains both versions (English and German). You can choose your preferred language and loading times are no issue anymore :-)

The game is compatible with common emulators and runs fine on the C64 Mini and the C64 Maxi. It's PAL compatible on real hardware.  In contrast to the D64-images the CRT version also supports NTSC (Hooray!).
